Since graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2023 with my masters, I have transitioned into full-time coaching, building on experience developed during my time as a student coach. I now run a successful coaching practice under East Lothian Barbell, where I’ve supported lifters from grassroots to the international level, focusing on technical development and long-term progression.
I co-founded a small gym in 2024, working with clients 1-to-1 and in small groups. Alongside this, I serve as Head Coach for the Glasgow University Weightlifting Club, a role I’ve held during the 2024/25 season. As of the 25/26 season I will also be coaching for the University of Edinburgh

I have an undergraduate degree in Physiology, Sports Science, and Nutrition, and I’m currently completing my masters in Physiotherapy. I also have over five years of experience competing in powerlifting, including several international competitions. My coaching is all about steady, sustainable progress and building strength in a safe, injury-preventative way. I want you to feel confident and capable in the gym, and I believe training should support your life, not take it over. I’m passionate about giving people the tools they need to reach their goals and enjoy getting stronger.
